On Saturday, March 21, 2015, the City of Hartford will host the 44th annual Greater Hartford St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The parade will step off at 11:00 AM. A map of the parade route as well as additional information can be found at
The following street closures will take effect on the day of the parade:
0930 Hours – Staging Area:
Capitol Avenue between Broad Street and Washington Street
Hungerford Street between Capitol Avenue and Russ Street
Oak Street between Capitol Avenue and Russ Street
Washington Street between Capitol Avenue and Buckingham Street
Trinity Street entire length
Capitol Avenue exit ramp from I-84 East
1040 Hours – Parade Route Closures:
Capitol Avenue between Broad Street and Main Street
Main Street between Buckingham Street and Church Street
Asylum Street between Main Street and Spruce Street
Ford Street entire length
Conlin Whitehead Highway @ Columbus Blvd. Exit (exit ramp will be open).

HARTFORD POLICE TO CONDUCT DUI ENFORCEMENT CHECKPOINT
(Hartford, CT.) – The Hartford Police Department Traffic Division will conduct a DUI Enforcement Checkpoint on Thursday, March 19, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., in the area of 90 Brainard Road.
This checkpoint is part of the Hartford Police Department's ongoing expanded DUI enforcement program supervised by the HPD's Traffic Division and funded through a grant from the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation DUI Enforcement Program.
