Acting Police Chief Mark R. Pawlina to attend Southend Community Meeting Tonight; Plans Tour North District Thursday, January 8, 2004.

                                                                                                    (Hartford) - Hartford Acting Police Chief
Mark R. Pawlina will attend the South End Neighborhood Action Project meeting  to be held tonight, January 7, 2004, beginning at 6:30 p.m., at the Metzner Receation Center located at 680 Franklin Avenue, Hartford.

              Chief Pawlina has scheduled the first in a series of tour of Hartford neighborhoods beginning
Thursday, January 8, 2004.  Chief Pawlina will begin his tour of the North District by meeting with HPD
personnel at 10:30 a.m. at the Albany Avenue Substation, 636 Albany Avenue,   During his tour of the
North District, Chief Pawlina will  visit the Blue Hills Civic Association Office, located at 120 Holcomb Street.
