HARTFORD TO HOST TAX DEED SALE TOMORROW

HARTFORD, CONN (April 25, 2019) – Tomorrow the City of Hartford is hosting a tax deed sale for 41 properties across the city.  The tax deed sale will allow the city to recoup delinquent taxes and transfer properties to new ownership.  The public auction will take place tomorrow, April 26th, 2019 at 10 AM at the Hartford Public Library, 500 Main Street.  The full list of properties as well as the starting bids is available here.

“This tax deed sale is a great opportunity for people who care about Hartford to invest in our city,” said Mayor Luke Bronin.  “We hope to recoup taxes owed to the city, but just as important, we want these properties in the hands of people who will care for them.”

Tomorrow, bidders must present a deposit of $5,000 per property in certified funds payable to “Pullman & Comley, Trustee” and the winning bidder must pay the balance of the sale price within 5 days or forfeit that deposit.  More details are available here.
