LGBTQ+ Commission

The LGBTQ+ Commission seeks to connect local LGBTQ+ organizations and support our LGBTQ+ community. One of the commission’s tasks is to study the conditions and needs of LGBTQ+ persons in Hartford and make recommendations to the Court of Common Council regarding city policy, services, and goals, and their impact on LGBTQ+ persons in the city. In doing so the commission serves as a home for information and resources regarding issues concerning the LGBTQ+ community. The commission is a resource for the public about LGBTQ+ issues and advocates on behalf of the community and their families.

The LGBTQ+ Commission meets every second Monday of the month at 4:00pm in the Function Room #212 at City Hall 550 Main Street. For more information e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
