CDBG, HOPWA and ESG applications now available:

As of January 6, 2020, the application period for Fiscal Year 2020-21 City of Hartford U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding is open. Below you will find the application and instruction documents for the FY2020-21 Award Year Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs. 

Completed, signed applications for all three programs are due at the Office of Central Grants Administration, City Hall, 550 Main Street, Room 302, Hartford CT 06103, no later than 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 13, 2020. (Please note that City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, February 12, 2020.)

Public Hearing/Technical Assistance Presentation

The Office of Central Grants Administration is presenting two public hearing/technical assistance sessions on the development of Hartford's Fiscal Year 2020-21 Annual Plan, including an overview of program and regulatory requirements for HUD funding. For those applying for CDBG funding, attendance at one of the following sessions is strongly suggested.
